Traditional Chinese Electronic anti-snoring device: Circuit Design, Parts List & Workshop Prototype Guide
In short: Traditional Chinese Electronic anti-snoring device. This entry documents a circuit & prototype taken from Chinese practical-technology literature, written for small-scale makers and home producers. The text below is the full English translation of the original Chinese workshop notes, covering materials and quantities, the step-by-step sequence, and the practical cautions recorded in the source. Roughly 4208 words of English technical text, translated and preserved without editing. It is intended for experimental and reference use, not for regulated or commercial certification.
Electronic anti-snoring deviceMany people snore or talk in their sleep, which can disturb the sleep of others. The electronic anti-snoring device introduced here can avoid this phenomenon. After picking up the sound of snoring, the device immediately emits short low-voltage electric pulses to the snorer's fingers. The snorer will feel a slight electric shock, which can stop snoring. Once the snoring disappears, the electric pulses will disappear, so normal sleep will not be interrupted. Although the amplitude of the electrical pulse is large, with a peak value of 50V, its current is small and the action time is very short, so it will not cause harm to the human body. The circuit schematic diagram of the electronic anti-snoring device is shown in Figure 189, which consists of a microphone, audio amplifier, rectifier, DC amplifier, controller, indicator and intermittent oscillator. When the user snores during sleep, the snoring sound will be picked up by the microphone and converted into a weak audio signal, which is sent to VT1 and VT2 for amplification through the coupling capacitor C1, and then is voltage doubled and rectified by C5, C7, VD1, and VD2. Get the DC control voltage across C7. The DC control voltage acts directly on the emitter of VT3, as long as the voltage exceeds the turn-on voltage of the tube. VT3 is turned on. This device uses relays to control the DC power supply of the indicating circuit and intermittent oscillator. …
